Round Brilliant

The modern brilliant cut diamond is without a shadow of a doubt the most popular shape available. It consists of 58 facets and the shape is optimized to reflected the light entering the stone through the top (table). The cut surfaced in the mid 17th century and counted only 17 facets in the crown. Later, a Venetian cutter called Vincent Peruzzi, improved the shape to 33 facets in the crown.

VS1 - Very Slightly Included 1

VS1 diamonds have small internal features that are difficult to see under 10x magnification.

G - Near Colourless/ Rare White

Only when these diamonds are held next to a master stone of higher color grade, can a slight color be detected. Otherwise color is nealry indiscernible. Although these diamonds are still rare, they are slightly less expensive and are considered a good value. In Scan. D.N. G diamonds are called Top Wesselton and has a value of 1,5-1,99 on the electronic caloriemeter.

Natural diamond

Because of the traditional and romantic meaning it has as a symbol of love and connection we only sell natural diamonds. They have a higher value and are exclusive because natural diamonds are formed in the earth under unique conditions and are very rare, which increases their exclusivity and value. Natural diamond forms deep inside the earth as a result of tectonic pressures 100s of kilometers below the earth's surface. They, as a consequence of their growth environment, are varied and unique. Despite being more pure than other natural crystals, they contain many different impurities incorporated from the environment during the long, slow growth process. Natural diamonds also often have a unique and unpredictable brilliance and color. Diamond producers we are working with also do everything they can to mine and process their diamonds in a responsible and ethical manner. Natural diamonds are more environmentally friendly as 95% of factory-made diamonds are grown in countries where 60-70% of the energy is fossil fuelled. The coal mines that power the presses and reactors are around twice the size of all the world’s diamond mines. CVD reactors consume huge amounts of energy and create CO2 from growing seed crystals and the HPHT post treatment to whiten the brown CVDs.

With side stones

The setting with side stones is a popular style for gemstone jewelry, known as a "solitaire with accents". It typically features a larger center gemstone, which is the focal point of the jewel, and smaller gemstones on one or either side of the center stone, often set into the band itself. The center gemstone can be a diamond or any other type of gemstone, depending on personal preference and budget. The smaller accent stones are often diamonds or other precious stones, and can add sparkle and visual interest to the overall design. This type of setting can be a beautiful choice for an engagement ring or other special occasion, as it creates a classic, elegant look that is both timeless and versatile.

4-claw setting

A four-prong setting is a popular technique that uses four prongs or claws to hold the gem in place. A 4-prong setting can be a classic, cathedral, contour, knife, border or trellis setting. The advantage of a 4-claw setting is that it holds the gemstone securely while still allowing maximum light to shine through. Provided that the prongs are thick enough of course. Another advantage is that the setting is relatively simple and therefore appears a bit more minimalist than the settings with six or eight prongs. When choosing a setting method for a jewel, it is important to consider factors such as the size and shape of the gemstone, the style of the jewel, and the jewel's intended use.

Distinguished

This item exudes class and simplicity. The emphasis is on authenticity, heritage, and understated elegance rather than overt opulence.

If you want to have a special creation made such as

Something that is given with love should be made with love. A creation is made especially for you by a designer with a thorough understanding of precious metals such as gold and platinum. A machine will never have this smoldering desire to create. That is why we still make our jewelery by hand at the bench in our workshop.

A golden jewel

A gold jewel made of the most precious precious metal is something you buy for life. In our workshop, goldsmiths make a jewel by hand from this most precious metal that will immortalize a unique event for you. When you buy something for yourself or for a loved one or even for a friend, the intention is for that person to identify with it. For example, a pair of earrings can capture a moment like the birth of twins. Or an anniversary ring can make you remember your twentieth wedding anniversary.

For a marriage proposal

Asking someone to share her or his life with you is done according to age-old tradition with a bow and an engagement jewel.

Ask for advice from

If you are looking for ever lasting jewelry like a wedding bands, an egagement ring, studs, a bracelet, a rivière or if you are looking for more trendy high-end jewelry then you better ask for advice first. Because these items are made for eternity and you don't just buy them rashly.

An ethically responsible

Today we realize, you as a consumer and we as a designer, that by buying or trading we can contribute to, or not contribute to, systems or organizations that do not act ethically correctly. The world is of course more complex than how some politicians and journalists want to portray it. We choose to help unite. As a diamond dealer and as a studio active in the multicultural Jewish quarter in Antwerp, we want to make a positive contribution to society. We think that if you want to unite the world, it's best to start at the beginning. That two individuals choose us for the creation of their wedding rings, the symbol for the ultimate promise of loyalty and commitment between two people, is therefore, each time again, a great honor for us.

Craftsman

A good craftsman possesses the necessary technical skills and knowledge of their craft. They have a deep understanding of materials, tools, techniques, and processes involved in their particular craft. Craftsmanship often requires time and effort. A good craftsman is patient and perseveres through challenges and setbacks. They are willing to invest the necessary time to achieve the desired outcome, even if it means redoing or refining their work multiple times. Our craftsmen will turn your jewelry into a unique, tailor-made work of art. The finish also allows the goldsmith to give your jewel a certain look, enhance the contrast in the ring or accentuate certain parts. Highly polished, ice matt or deeply scratched.
