Round Brilliant

The modern brilliant cut diamond is without a shadow of a doubt the most popular shape available. It consists of 58 facets and the shape is optimized to reflected the light entering the stone through the top (table). The cut surfaced in the mid 17th century and counted only 17 facets in the crown. Later, a Venetian cutter called Vincent Peruzzi, improved the shape to 33 facets in the crown.

Natural diamond

Because of the traditional and romantic meaning it has as a symbol of love and connection we only sell natural diamonds. They have a higher value and are exclusive because natural diamonds are formed in the earth under unique conditions and are very rare, which increases their exclusivity and value. Natural diamond forms deep inside the earth as a result of tectonic pressures 100s of kilometers below the earth's surface. They, as a consequence of their growth environment, are varied and unique. Despite being more pure than other natural crystals, they contain many different impurities incorporated from the environment during the long, slow growth process. Natural diamonds also often have a unique and unpredictable brilliance and color. Diamond producers we are working with also do everything they can to mine and process their diamonds in a responsible and ethical manner.

Pavé

A pavé is a style of jewelry or jewelry setting in which small diamonds or other gemstones are embedded into the metal base of a piece of jewelry, with the surface of the piece of jewelry covered with gemstones in an even pattern. The term "pavé" comes from the French word for paved, which refers to the way the gems are set closely together, giving the appearance of a paved street. A pavé setting is often used in engagement rings, wedding rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets. It gives a beautiful sparkle and a luxurious look to the piece of jewelry. A pavé setting is a delicate and labour-intensive technique in which the gemstones are carefully set to make the piece of jewelery look as beautiful as possible. It is important to know that the gemstones in a pavé setting are very small and therefore more fragile than larger gemstones. It is important to properly maintain the jewelry with pavé settings and to have it checked regularly by a jeweler to prevent gemstones from falling out.

pavé in line

A consecutive pavé setting is a popular technique in jewelry making where small diamonds or other gemstones are set closely together in a row, creating a continuous surface of sparkle. Here are some advantages of a consecutive pavé setting on a jewel: Enhanced brilliance: The close proximity of the diamonds or gemstones in a consecutive pavé setting allows for more light to reflect and refract, resulting in a dazzling display of sparkle and brilliance. Increased durability: The closely set stones in a pavé setting provide added support and protection for the center stone or main focal point of the jewelry piece, making it more durable and less prone to damage. Versatility: A consecutive pavé setting can be used on a variety of jewelry pieces, including rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, making it a versatile and popular choice in jewelry design. Aesthetic appeal: A consecutive pavé setting can add a sense of luxury and sophistication to a jewelry piece, while also creating a subtle, understated effect that enhances the beauty of the overall design. Customizable: A consecutive pavé setting can be customized to fit a wide range of styles and preferences, with options for different sizes, shapes, and colors of diamonds or gemstones, as well as variations in the number and spacing of stones in the setting.

Casual Luxury

This item is to wear loosely on a trendy ordinary day.

Purchasing

You don't buy sustainable handmade jewelry every day. You can do this with peace of mind from a jeweler with a good reputation. So you are in the right place in our workshop in Antwerp where we will help you to get everything your heart desires.

A classic diamond piece with a modern twist

Many keep their diamond look simple, but there is a growing trend to mix up classics and make them less formal. Less formal means you can wear your diamonds “with a tennis shoe instead of a high heel”. For example, you can express your individuality with a diamond necklace by adding sparkle to daytime jewelry in a playful mix of chains, funky beads and talismans without looking too showy. Or you can stack diamond tennis bracelets with any number of other bracelets, beads, and leather thongs for a luxe bohemian look. Or wear denim jeans and a t-shirt togheter with classic diamond pieces. Yes, indeed rivières, tennis bracelets and ear studs can be worn dressed up or casually. If you buy contemporary yet classic jewelry everyone, regardless of age, will love wearing the pieces while it's remaining classic enough so they can be passed through generations while maintaining their value.

For a special occasion

Do you want to obtain gold or diamonds for an engagement, to get married, for a formal evening event, or just to buy for yourself to wear every day, every special occasion in life is worth being eternalized through an exquisite piece of jewellery. Invest in something that will make you happy! Invest in your beloved ones or in yourself by getting one-of-a-kind high-fine jewelry. Focuse on how a piece looks and feels, and the emotional connection it evokes. Celebrate professional milestones by treating yourself to an amazing piece of jewelry. Or mark the birth of your children by adding something to your jewelry collection. Get pieces which will give you a lot of emotion. Precious items you get attached with. Sustainable fine diamond jewelry represents the real epitome of the ‘buy less, buy better’ ethos. Diamonds are forever and will last for generations.

In the Antwerp Jewish quarter

Antwerp is known for its diamonds industry and its Orthodox Jews. A few decades ago approximately eighty percent of Antwerp’s Jewish population used to make a living from the diamond industry. Apart from the gatherings in the diamond district and at the synagogue, Jews from Antwerp have lived mostly in different entities. The most recognizable community is that of the Haredi. After New York, London and Jerusalem, Antwerp is home to one of the largest ultra-Orthodox communities in the world.
