Oval cut diamonds can vary in length-to-width ratios, which can affect their appearance. A higher length-to-width ratio can make the diamond appear more elongated, while a lower ratio can make it appear more rounded. The choice of ratio ultimately depends on personal preference. Ideally, the diamond should be cut in such a way that the light entering the diamond is refracted and reflected evenly, resulting in a brilliant and sparkling appearance.
