Natural diamond
Because of the traditional and romantic meaning it has as a symbol of love and connection we only sell natural diamonds. They have a higher value and are exclusive because natural diamonds are formed in the earth under unique conditions and are very rare, which increases their exclusivity and value. Natural diamond forms deep inside the earth as a result of tectonic pressures 100s of kilometers below the earth's surface. They, as a consequence of their growth environment, are varied and unique. Despite being more pure than other natural crystals, they contain many different impurities incorporated from the environment during the long, slow growth process. Natural diamonds also often have a unique and unpredictable brilliance and color. Diamond producers we are working with also do everything they can to mine and process their diamonds in a responsible and ethical manner.
Orange
Fancy orange diamonds are prized for their unique and rare color. They are among the rarest colored diamonds in the world, and their value is determined by several factors, including the intensity and evenness of the orange color, as well as the clarity, cut, and carat weight of the diamond. Fancy orange diamonds can range in color from light orange to deep orange, and may also have secondary hues of pink, brown, or yellow. The more intense and evenly distributed the orange color, the higher the value of the diamond. Fancy orange diamonds with a pure orange color and minimal secondary hues are the most valuable. Orange diamonds are also prized for their symbolism. Orange is often associated with energy, creativity, and warmth, and diamonds in this color are thought to represent these qualities. They are also believed to have healing properties and are often used in meditation and energy healing practices. Fancy orange diamonds are among the rarest of colored diamonds, accounting for less than 0.1% of all diamonds mined. Halo
An entourage or halo setting is a jewelers technique in which a central gemstone is surrounded by smaller stones. They light up the whole and accentuate the central stone. Peter Poussenier works closely with the best Antwerp diamond polishers and thus has access to their full range. This allows you to select the most unique and interesting diamonds by adding them to your bespoke jewellery.
