By making a turning movement with a diamond sponge, a game of shiny scratches arises. On white gold or platinum, an effect similar to ice flowers is obtained.
SI2 - Slightly Included 2
SI2 diamonds have visible internal characteristics that are very easy to see under 10x magnification.
N-R - Very Light Yellow/ Tinted Colour
These diamonds have a yellow or brown tint that can be easily seen. Diamonds starting for the color N are not fit to be sold as gemstones, unless the customer asks specifically for a diamond with an amber color. Natural diamond
Because of the traditional and romantic meaning it has as a symbol of love and connection we only sell natural diamonds. They have a higher value and are exclusive because natural diamonds are formed in the earth under unique conditions and are very rare, which increases their exclusivity and value. Natural diamond forms deep inside the earth as a result of tectonic pressures 100s of kilometers below the earth's surface. They, as a consequence of their growth environment, are varied and unique. Despite being more pure than other natural crystals, they contain many different impurities incorporated from the environment during the long, slow growth process. Natural diamonds also often have a unique and unpredictable brilliance and color. Diamond producers we are working with also do everything they can to mine and process their diamonds in a responsible and ethical manner. Natural diamonds are more environmentally friendly as 95% of factory-made diamonds are grown in countries where 60-70% of the energy is fossil fuelled. The coal mines that power the presses and reactors are around twice the size of all the world’s diamond mines. CVD reactors consume huge amounts of energy and create CO2 from growing seed crystals and the HPHT post treatment to whiten the brown CVDs.
consecutive
A consecutive gemstone setting is a jewelry design in which gemstones are placed next to each other in a row or band. This setting is often used for bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings and it's most popular for engagement rings and wedding rings. Sometimes the gems are placed so that their edges touch, creating a continuous pattern. This ensures a very sleek, elegant and polished appearance of the jewel. There are various techniques to make a contiguous gemstone setting, such as channel setting, pavé setting or bead setting. Pavé setting is the most common technique, in which small gemstones are placed closely together and secured with small claws or pins. Channel setting and bead setting are often used for larger gemstones and give a similar look, but with a slightly different construction. A contiguous gemstone setting can contain different types of gemstones, such as sapphires, rubies, emeralds, topazes, diamonds, and more. The design can range from simple and classic to intricate and detailed.
4-claw setting
A four-prong setting is a popular technique that uses four prongs or claws to hold the gem in place. A 4-prong setting can be a classic, cathedral, contour, knife, border or trellis setting. The advantage of a 4-claw setting is that it holds the gemstone securely while still allowing maximum light to shine through. Provided that the prongs are thick enough of course. Another advantage is that the setting is relatively simple and therefore appears a bit more minimalist than the settings with six or eight prongs. When choosing a setting method for a jewel, it is important to consider factors such as the size and shape of the gemstone, the style of the jewel, and the jewel's intended use.
Pear
a single point and rounded end. It’s a popular choice for a variety of jewellery, most notably pendants and earrings. By choosing an elongated pear shape, the lenght of the fingers is accentuated. For a traditional pear-shaped diamond, the length-to-width ratio should be around 1.5:1.

In the Antwerp Jewish quarter
Antwerp is known for its diamond industry and its orthodox Jews. A few decades ago, about eighty percent of Antwerp's Jewish population lived off the diamond industry. Apart from the gatherings in the diamond district and in the synagogue, Antwerp's Jews have mainly lived in various entities. The most recognizable community is that of the Haredi. After New York, London and Jerusalem, Antwerp is home to one of the largest ultra-orthodox communities in the world.
